Dear PTA Leaders, Families, and Community Members,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year!  On behalf of the executive board of Irvine Unified Council of PTAs, I’m thrilled to embark on another year of partnership, growth, and advocacy with each of you.

This year, our theme is “Adventure Awaits”—a reminder that every new school year is a journey filled with opportunities to explore, learn, and lead. Whether you’re a returning member or joining us for the first time, your voice and energy are vital to the success of our mission.

We recognize that today’s environment can feel polarized and challenging. Yet, as part of the nation’s largest advocacy organization for children, our commitment remains unwavering: to speak with one voice for all children, regardless of background, ability, or circumstance. Our strength lies in our unity, and our focus is clear—ensuring every child has the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive.

As we set out on this year’s adventure, let us be guided by the words of Nelson Mandela:
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

Let’s continue to make connections, build bridges, foster inclusion, and celebrate the diversity that makes our school communities so special. Together, we can create safe, welcoming spaces where every child feels seen, heard, and valued.
