Training for the various positions is offered in May/June and August/September by Irvine Unified Council PTA and 4th District PTA. Check the calendar for dates and times. IF you miss your training, you can also request personalized training and at least review past training videos under the Leadership menu tab.

Every PTA unit should have their President attend the monthly IUCPTA meeting on Wednesdays (6 day/3 night meetings) to ensure they are getting the most up-to-date info helping to maintain their non-profit status. If the President can't make it, they should appoint their EVP or other exec board member. Each meeting provides an opportunity to hear from IUSD reps (Superintendent, Board Trustees and other Staff), community partners (IPSF, ITA, City of Irvine, etc.), and program vendors (fundraising, community building, extra curricular, etc.).
