This year's OC Red Ribbon Week (October 20-26) theme is Life is a Movie - Film Drug Free, but we like to promote a proactive approach and recommend to all our units: Life is a Movie - Starring Healthy Choices! IUSD leads this amazing and positive program. Each PTA unit in collaboration with their school administration and staff come up with a week of fun activities and themes.

NAMIWalks Inviting the Irvine Community to Join IUCPTA! At Angel Stadium, Saturday November 16th: Preparations - wear running sneakers (and school spiritwear if applicable); dress in layers; bring a water bottle if you like, but know there are water stations along your running/walking path too 8:00AM - team tailgating/hat pick-up spot next to VIP parking (see image below; look for black balloons) 8:50AM - meet in front of stadium entrance (see image below) for group photo 8:50am 9:00AM - start running/walking 5K (2 laps) All PTA's, students, parents, families, friends, exec boards, neighbors....together with invited IUSD School Board of Trustees and IUSD Staff are all invited to attend and join our IUCPTA team to walk or run. FREE to register. Donations are optional! The students of the Irvine Adult Transition Program (IATP) are selling special IUCPTA "TEAM IRVINE" hats as part of their student business program for just $15 each. Please consider supporting them. We'll be wearing these hats during our walk as we proudly represent TEAM IRVINE. Hat order deadline is Oct. 18th and will be distributed on morning of event at tailgate camp. STEP 1: Join Team! (online receipt is your proof of payment).
