The Latest IUCPTA Instagram News!

This past weekend, members of the Irvine Unified C This past weekend, members of the Irvine Unified Council of PTAs leadership team—including our Council President, EVP, Treasurer, and VP of Advocacy—had the incredible opportunity to attend the California State PTA Convention in Fresno. We were joined by amazing representatives from our Irvine PTA units, including Deerfield, Brywood, Lakeside, and Stone Creek. To say we’re coming back inspired would be an understatement. The weekend was filled with powerful learning, meaningful conversations, and genuine connection. We collaborated, shared ideas, and gained valuable insights that will help strengthen and elevate every PTA across Irvine. We are especially proud that our Council President, Amy Wang, and VP of Advocacy, Jennie Bolinger, had the opportunity to present on a panel highlighting our IUCPTA/IUSD High School Advocacy Program—showcasing the impactful work happening right here in our community. They were joined on the panel by School Board Trustee, Lauren Brooks, and program alum, Gabe Mutsvangwa. This convention is more than just a conference—it’s an experience that energizes, empowers, and reminds us why we do this work. And here’s the exciting part: next year, it’s coming to Ontario! This is a perfect opportunity for even more of our Irvine PTA members to attend, grow, and bring back ideas that make a real difference for our students and schools.
